Americans of African descent have played an important role in our history. February is designated as Black history month to recognize the important contributions this group of people have and continue to make to our society. Use this voicethread to share your thoughts about one of your favorite black members of society. The categories include actors, actresses, athletes, women, inventors/scientists, and political figures. Change your personal image icon to a picture of the person you are commenting on. Be sure to include what contributions the person you have chosen has made to improve or honorably represent the African/American race. Try to keep your post to 30 seconds or less and listen to what others have put on the voicethread so you don't duplicate what someone else has already said.
